A rare Hemidrachm from Naxos of lovely Classical style

SICILY. Naxos. Circa 420-403 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 1.89 g, 9 h). ΑΣΣΙΝΟ-Σ Head of the youthful river-god Assinos to left, wearing wreath of selinon leaves and with a tiny horn above his forehead. Rev. ΝΑΞΙ-ΩΝ Silenos, nude and bearded, squatting facing half-right on rocks, head to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and two auloi in his left. Cahn, Naxos 115 (V73A/R93). Rizzo pl. Slightly rough and with a few old scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
